Kitten Or Parrot?

One of our new little kittens has the delightful but painful habit of leaping onto my leg (only when I'm wearing long pants) and climbing his way all...the...way...up to my shoulder, where he sits and purrs.  It makes me feel pretty loved and good, but ouch!  His tiny claws are SHARP!
